Job Title: Senior Product Manager – Security
Role Summary: Own the strategy, roadmap, and launch of enterprise security features within a cloud‑based networking platform. Work closely with engineering, UX, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to translate customer and market insights into prioritized product initiatives that drive adoption, differentiation, and revenue.
Expectations:
- Deliver end‑to‑end product lifecycle ownership (vision, market fit, launch, iteration).
- Influence cross‑functional teams, prioritize backlog, and ensure on‑time, high‑quality releases.
- Communicate product value to stakeholders and gather actionable feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify customer, partner, and internal stakeholder needs through market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable epics and user stories, coordinating with engineering, UX, and QA.
- Own feature definition, implementation oversight, and post‑launch performance analysis.
- Report on feature usage, business impact, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and executive teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of B2B product management in enterprise security software.
- Deep understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security solutions.
- Technical background (software development, security research, product ownership, security engineering, or senior support engineering).
- Proven product leadership: prioritization, clear communication, and cross‑functional influence.
- Strong UX sense; experience working with UX designers.
- Knowledge of SASE and security cloud services (advantage).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent security credentials are a plus.
