Job Title: Senior HCM Implementation Project Manager
Role Summary
Senior HCM Implementation Project Manager leads complex, multi‑phase HCM platform deployments for global customers. Utilizes an established implementation methodology to deliver scope, schedule, and budget, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and seamless transition to support. Manages a matrix‑structured team, coordinates with cross‑functional stakeholders, and mentors consultants on best‑practice execution.
Expectations
- Deliver on time, on budget, and within defined scope for concurrent or single enterprise‑wide projects.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction, secure key milestone approvals, and support post‑go‑live analysis.
- Continuously improve methodology, tools, and processes through feedback and best‑practice initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and communicate project progress, risks, change requests, and status reports.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Develop and manage multi‑workstream schedules (Microsoft Project/Visio) and business process maps.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, UAT, and support transition.
- Lead project health checks, post‑implementation reviews, and PMO contributions.
- Mentor junior consultants on workshop facilitation, requirement capture, and change management.
- Travel to client sites as needed to ensure engagement and delivery.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of project management in complex SaaS/Cloud HCM implementations.
- Proven experience managing multi‑phase, multi‑dimension projects with competing priorities.
- Strong schedule management (Microsoft Project, Visio) and business process mapping.
- Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and various HCM platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle HR, Workday, Dayforce).
- Experience with change management, stakeholder governance, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management in matrix environments.
- Ability to travel for client engagements.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMI/PMP certification preferred.
