Job Description

**Job Title:** Planner, New Product Introduction **Role Summary:** Coordinate and execute material planning and production scheduling for new product introductions. Manage relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on‑time delivery and seamless integration of parts into finished products. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, timely material and production schedules that meet customer OTD targets. - Maintain clear, data‑driven communication across cross‑functional teams and suppliers. - Resolve scheduling conflicts and identify risks to production timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute Material Planning System (MPS) activities to support NPI production. - Review daily new customer orders and bookings; generate purchase orders accordingly. - Develop, maintain, and communicate Contract Manufacturer (CM) production schedules. - Track, report, and analyze Customer On‑Time Delivery (OTD) metrics for NPI programs. - Monitor late backlog and produce status reports for NPI products. - Provide weekly material availability updates to NPI stakeholder community. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement) across locations. - Travel as required to supplier sites or internal hubs. **Required Skills:** - Strong organization, planning, and time‑management abilities. - Analytical mindset with a thorough understanding of MRP within an ERP system. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Independent problem‑solving with moderate complexity tasks. - Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. - Customer‑service orientation and collaborative team play. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or related field. - 3–7 years of experience in production or NPI planning and vendor scheduling. - Proven experience working with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle). ---
