**Job title** Marketing Director – Performance Marketing **Role Summary** Lead B2C performance marketing for a consumer‑facing client across web and app. Own end‑to‑end acquisition, upsell, and marketplace strategies, integrating paid media, SEO, affiliates, and personalisation to drive revenue growth and optimise customer experience. Manage large budgets, agency relationships, and cross‑functional teams while leveraging AI, LLMs, and data science for continuous experimentation and optimisation. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable ROI on multi‑million‑pound performance media spend. - Own key commercial KPIs (CPA, upsell, in‑product leads, paid leads, churn). - Provide forecasting, reporting, and revenue impact analysis to senior leadership. - Champion data‑driven personalisation, AI integration, and LLM‑ready SEO strategies. - Exhibit strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Define/execute acquisition, upsell, and marketplace lead strategy for web/app. - Forecast and report performance (daily, monthly, annual); collaborate with finance for revenue impact. - Monitor churn metrics; support retention initiatives via insights. - Drive growth through paid media (PPC, social, affiliates), SEO, and partner channels. - Manage agencies, media partners, and media budget, ensuring ROI and strategic alignment. - Lead SEO and LLM optimisation, preparing for evolving search behaviors. - Maintain best‑in‑class customer experience; spearhead quarterly optimisation roadmaps. - Run multi‑product, cross‑channel experimentation to achieve sustained revenue growth. - Own personalisation strategy, embedding data‑driven targeting across ecosystems. - Integrate AI and emerging tech to enhance media efficiency and respond to LLM impact. - Partner with Brand, CRM, and Product Marketing on lifecycle alignment. - Embed predictive data attributes and machine learning for personalised experiences. - Drive experimentation across new product development, feature releases, and journeys. - Define testing tools and agile practices with tech and product teams. **Required Skills** - Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams; strong influence with senior stakeholders. - Deep expertise in paid media, digital performance channels, A/B testing, and optimisation. - Advanced analytical skills with web analytics, performance reporting, and commercial accountability. - Strong understanding of marketing technology, market trends, and commercial drivers. - Experience managing agencies, suppliers, and media partners. - Budget ownership and spend optimisation experience. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaborating with product/design teams. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and forecasting abilities. - Data‑centric mindset; comfortable balancing multiple KPIs and priorities. - Familiarity with AI, LLMs, and emerging tech for marketing. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field (preferred). - Professional certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) and data analytics are desirable.
