Job Title: System and Network Administrator (F/M)
Role Summary:
Maintain and support the entire IT infrastructure for a multi‑agency organization, ensuring optimal operation of Windows 11 workstations, Microsoft 365 services, Azure‑hosted applications, and company websites. Provide end‑user support, administer servers and databases, implement security policies, and contribute to the organization’s cybersecurity maturity.
Expectations:
- Deliver reliable, timely technical assistance to staff across all branches.
- Administer Windows Server environments (GPO, LDAP) and Microsoft 365.
- Apply and evolve security measures in partnership with the CISO.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage hardware lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update PC hardware and software.
- Manage support ticketing system and produce technical documentation.
- Deploy and maintain Office 365 suite and related collaboration tools.
- Control inventory: order, receive, register, and retire equipment.
- Monitor and administer Windows servers, Azure resources, and company websites.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and database management procedures.
- Conduct security hardening, patch management, and log monitoring.
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity policies (access control, incident response, remote work).
- Educate users on security best practices and safe computing.
- Participate in continuous improvement and technology scouting.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Windows 11, Windows Server (Active Directory, GPO, LDAP).
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with Azure services and web hosting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of backup solutions, database management, and web server administration.
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of security frameworks, network protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer‑service orientation, and teamwork.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Windows Server certification is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA) are a plus.
