**Job Title:** Chief Commercial Officer
**Role Summary:**
Strategic commercial leader responsible for developing and executing the sales, marketing, partnership, and customer success agenda of a battery manufacturing company. Drives revenue growth across defence, industrial, mobility, and energy‑storage markets, aligns commercial activities with technical capabilities, and leads international market expansion.
**Expectations:**
- Define and implement a winning commercial strategy that delivers measurable revenue and market‑share growth.
- Build and lead high‑performing global sales, marketing, and customer‑success teams.
- Secure large‑scale supply contracts and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and R&D to align product offerings with customer requirements.
- Represent the company in key industry forums and negotiate with C‑level stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Create and own the commercial roadmap, forecasting, and KPIs.
2. Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from lead generation to contract closure, targeting high‑value deals.
3. Develop marketing and branding strategies to position the company as a market leader.
4. Establish and manage strategic alliances, joint ventures, and channel partner programs.
5. Oversee customer‑success initiatives to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
6. Coordinate cross‑functional teams (R&D, production, finance) to meet complex customer specifications and delivery schedules.
7. Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and regulatory developments; adjust tactics accordingly.
8. Manage commercial budgeting, pricing models, and profitability analyses.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven track record in senior commercial leadership (C‑suite or VP level) within high‑tech, industrial, or energy sectors.
- Strong expertise in B2B sales, strategic account management, and large‑scale contract negotiations.
- Ability to develop and execute global go‑to‑market strategies and drive international expansion.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in revenue forecasting, pricing, and financial modeling.
- Leadership capability to build, mentor, and scale multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with battery technology, energy storage, or related industrial applications is preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field (minimum).
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Leader, Strategic Management) are a plus.
