Senior UX Designer – B2B (Contract)
**Role Summary**
Lead discovery and design for a B2B enterprise platform that serves insurance carriers and internal users. Deliver high‑quality, self‑service experiences that improve operational efficiency, clarity, and speed across the product suite. Drive systems thinking, research‑based decisions, and collaboration across design, product, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
**Expectations**
- 5–8 years of UX design experience, focusing on B2B, internal tools, and complex system design.
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage end‑to‑end design from ideation to high‑fidelity deliverables.
- Expert evidence‑based approach, continuously testing and iterating with qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Strong facilitation skills to conduct workshops and align cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead discovery and ideation for the enterprise initiative, defining user flows, information architecture, and system interactions.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and exploratory research to surface insights and validate designs.
- Create ethical, inclusive, data‑visualization‑rich wireframes, mock‑ups, storyboards, and high‑fidelity prototypes.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineering, analytics, and business teams throughout the development cycle.
- Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders, uncover problems, and accelerate user‑centered decisions.
- Support design system evolution, ensuring scalable, consistent UI patterns.
- Participate in design community activities, continuously learning and sharing best practices.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (UI/UX design, prototyping, component libraries).
- Expertise in user research: interviewing, usability testing, journey mapping, personas, data synthesis.
- Strong information architecture and navigation design skills.
- Exceptional data visualization and communication abilities.
- Systems thinking, ensuring seamless integration with billing, platform, and third‑party services.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Business, or a related field.
- (Optional) Certifications in UX Design, HCI, or related disciplines are welcome but not mandatory.
