**Job Title**
Azure Cloud Security Architect
**Role Summary**
Design and enforce secure Azure cloud solutions, integrating security into development lifecycles and operations. Lead incident response, IAM strategy, and compliance across the Azure environment, acting as SME for cloud security practices.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years of IT security experience, with 3‑10 years in cloud security architecture.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (Entra, Security Center, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).
- Strong command of security tooling (SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with IaC (Terraform) and DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluency in English; certification in ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2 or equivalent preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Architecture & Design** – Co‑develop secure Azure architectures and design patterns; author and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures.
2. **Security Operations** – Enable incident response and telemetry via centralized intra‑cloud and cross‑cloud logging; conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses.
3. **Monitoring & Incident Response** – Operate SIEM tools (SOC); investigate, respond to, and remediate security incidents.
4. **Identity & Access Management (IAM)** – Design & implement Azure AD, RBAC, conditional access, and authentication mechanisms.
5. **Compliance & Governance** – Ensure Azure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2; conduct audits and maintain regulatory alignment.
6. **Collaboration & Leadership** – Partner with IT, DevOps, and security teams; provide guidance, training, and SME support.
**Required Skills**
- Cloud security architecture and design (Azure).

**Required Education & Certifications**
