Job Description: Job Title: Laravel Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Laravel applications for clients and internal tools, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability. Key Responsibilities: - Build, test, and deploy Laravel PHP applications. - Develop RESTful APIs, implement authentication mechanisms, and integrate third‑party services. - Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL database schemas. - Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance and security. - Write unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/Pest) and maintain code quality. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and technology research. - Collaborate with front‑end developers (React or Vue) and designers to deliver cohesive digital experiences. - Create internal SaaS tools or platform features to improve business efficiency. Required Skills: - 5+ years of PHP and Laravel development (Laravel 8.x+). - Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization. - Experience with RESTful API design, authentication, JWT/OAuth, and API integrations. - Proficient in Git version control and branching workflows. - Ability to write testable, maintainable code and use automated testing frameworks. - Problem‑solving mindset, debugging, and performance tuning abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience building or maintaining internal tools or SaaS applications. - Familiarity with front‑end frameworks (React or Vue) is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Laravel or PHP certifications (e.g., Laravel Certified Developer) are a plus.
