Role Summary
Lead the technical ownership and evolution of the marketing technology ecosystem from acquisition through retention. Act as primary administrator for core platforms (Iterable, Meta, Google, TikTok, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Segment, and related attribution tools), designing scalable architectures, building API integrations, and ensuring reliable data flows for personalization, reporting, and customer journey orchestration.
Expactations
- Understand and translate business marketing objectives into technical solutions.
- Manage platform performance, health monitoring, and continuous optimization.
- Serve as the escalation point for MarTech issues and change requests.
- Mentor and grow a small MarTech team, beginning with an Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and administer the MarTech stack, including acquisition, engagement, CRM, CDP, and attribution platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain API-based integrations and data schemas.
- Ensure clean, reliable data flows enabling personalization, reporting, and journey orchestration.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows for reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data, product, and growth teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Define and execute the MarTech roadmap as the function matures.
- Mentor a small team and scale MarTech capability across the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience owning and operating marketing technology platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Iterable, Segment, Salesforce Sales Cloud/Marketing Cloud).
- Strong technical expertise in APIs, data mapping, data structures, and SQL.
- Track record of building and maintaining platform integrations across acquisition, CRM, CDP, and MAPs.
- Ability to translate marketing needs into clear technical requirements and explain solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with platform performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
- English language proficiency (conversational).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field.
- Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, Iterable) are a plus.
