Job Description

**Job title:** Business Intelligence Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and interactive dashboards that transform data into actionable insights for operational and executive stakeholders within the Data & Insight team. **Expectations:** - Collaborate closely with the Head of Data and Insight and cross‑functional project teams. - Deliver BI projects on schedule, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance to housing service needs. - Act as a liaison between business users and technical staff, translating requirements into measurable dashboards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain standardized reporting solutions aligned with business requirements. - Design and develop Power BI dashboards (or equivalent BI tools). - Translate data into actionable insights for executives, board members, and managers. - Work with Data Management to resolve data quality issues and ensure robust, reliable reporting. - Provide training, guidance, and best‑practice support for colleagues in BI reporting. - Promote BI adoption and contribute to the organization’s BI maturity framework. **Required Skills:** - 2–3+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. - Strong MS SQL knowledge and database querying. - Experience in Agile development environments. - Solid grasp of BI principles and reporting best practice. - Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non‑technical audiences. - Personable, values‑driven, and capable of building strong professional relationships. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
