Job Description
**Job title:** C++ Developer **Role Summary:** Senior C++ developer tasked with analyzing, designing, and implementing high‑performance applications for an energy‑sector client. Responsibilities include complex algorithm development (multithreading, real‑time), automated testing, version control, and continuous integration while adhering to best software‑quality practices in an Agile environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, maintainable C++ code that meets functional and performance requirements. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine architecture and design. - Ensure rigorous testing (unit, integration) and CI pipeline stability. - Apply TDD, Clean Code principles, and Agile practices consistently. - Communicate progress and technical decisions clearly to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyse existing architecture and propose enhancements. - Design and develop C++ applications using C++17 or newer. - Implement complex algorithms involving multithreading, real‑time constraints, and, if required, image‑processing techniques (filtering, segmentation, registration, morphological operations). - Automate test suites and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, CMake). - Manage source code with Git and enforce code quality standards. - Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile setting. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in C++ (C++17+), object‑oriented programming, and multithreaded design. - Experience with Windows/Linux development environments, Visual Studio, CMake, Git, and CI tools (Jenkins, Gitlab). - Strong understanding of automated testing (TDD) and Clean Code practices. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). - Optional: expertise in image‑processing algorithms (filtering, segmentation, registration, mathematical morphology). - Knowledge of .NET/C# is advantageous. - Professional English communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum Bachelor’s (BAC+5) or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. - At least 3 years of professional C++ development experience. - Proven Agile experience (mandatory).
