Job Description

Job Title: Import/Export Specialist Role Summary: Execute and manage international logistics, compliance, and operational tasks for import and export operations. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintain accurate data, and support multi‑region trade activities. Expectations: • One year of professional experience in international logistics or trade compliance (internship not accepted). • Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and produce corrective action plans when needed. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and execute import and export shipments across multiple regions. - Monitor and enforce compliance with customs, trade regulations, and company SOPs. - Evaluate operation processes through self‑assessments and audits, providing recommendations for improvement. - Draft, update, and implement standard operating procedures. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, finance, legal) to resolve data inconsistencies. - Utilize SAP for transaction processing and reporting. Required Skills: - Strong detail orientation and data verification. - Effective written and verbal communication with cross‑functional teams. - Analytical mindset with basic change‑management and training skills. - Awareness of compliance, risk, and supply‑chain security. - SAP proficiency; auditing experience a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field (preferred). - Equivalent combination of education and professional experience acceptable.
