**Job Title**
Security Solution Designer
**Role Summary**
Architect end‑to‑end security solutions that satisfy business, functional, and non‑functional requirements. Deliver architecture designs, documentation, and governance artifacts while communicating design decisions to senior leadership and non‑security technical stakeholders.
**Expectations**
- Deep expertise in network security, segmentation, and network access control.
- Proven experience in large‑scale IT transformation and public/private cloud segmentation (MPLS/eVPN, SDN, container environments).
- Ability to perform threat modelling, regulatory compliance analysis, and create traceable risk mitigation plans.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Security Architecture team to produce detailed design artefacts.
- Create, maintain, and update end‑to‑end solution designs aligned with reference architecture and business needs.
- Publish design decision records, options, and technical risk logs; manage deviations and technical debt.
- Conduct multi‑layered assessments to identify segmentation opportunities and control gaps at network, platform, and application levels.
- Translate regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA) into design controls and ensure traceability from policy to execution.
- Embed security controls into product roadmaps and support implementation of the Network Segmentation Target Operating Model.
- Serve as SME for engineering, architecture, and service operations, ensuring cohesive design implementation.
- Ensure all artifacts undergo peer review and architectural governance before approval.
**Required Skills**
- Network security expertise (firewalls, segmentation, SDN, MPLS/eVPN).
- Cloud segmentation (public, private, container) and macro‑/micro‑segmentation.
- Threat modelling, security assessment, regulatory interpretation.
- Documentation and design tools: BizzDesign, Archi, or UML.
- Project tools: Jira, Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex security concepts to non‑security audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent broad cybersecurity certification.
- Networking or Infrastructure industry‑recognized certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+).
