Job Description

**Job Title** Software Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, secure software for cross‑border payment services. Contribute to the next‑generation platform powering millions of remittance transactions, ensuring speed, reliability, and compliance across global corridors. **Expactations** - Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code on time. - Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and security teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and evolve microservices and APIs that support remittance workflows. - Write clean, well‑tested code and maintain comprehensive documentation. - Optimize system performance, scalability, and resilience. - Implement secure coding practices and compliance checks. - Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration. - Troubleshoot and debug production issues with minimal downtime. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Go, Python, or Node.js). - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). - Solid understanding of RESTful and gRPC services. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI). - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. - Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Optional: Master’s degree or equivalent industry experience. - Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Developer, GCP Professional Cloud Developer, or Azure Certified Developer.
