**Job title:** Data Scientist
**Role Summary:** Deliver data‑driven insights and predictive models to enhance personalization, experimentation, and recommendation strategies across product, engineering, and CRM functions. Own the full lifecycle of data products and machine learning systems, from conception through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
**Expectations:**
- Translate complex user behavior analytics into actionable business recommendations.
- Champion evidence‑based decision making through rigorous A/B testing and experimental design.
- Build and maintain scalable data products enabling stakeholder self‑service.
- Drive innovation in recommendation algorithms and propensity models for targeted member engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze user interaction data to identify high‑impact personalization opportunities.
- Design, implement, and evaluate recommender systems, classification, regression, propensity, graph, and causal inference models.
- Conduct hypothesis‑driven experiments, ensuring robust statistical validation.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model monitoring dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, CRM) to integrate ML solutions into production environments.
- Communicate findings and model performance insights to senior stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc.).
- Experience building and deploying predictive models (classification, regression, propensity, graph analysis, clustering).
- Hands‑on with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Databricks, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML).
- Strong statistical foundation, including A/B testing and experimental design.
- Knowledge of recommendation algorithms and personalization techniques.
- Ability to translate analytical insights into business‑value recommendations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.; or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications in data science or ML platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer) are preferred.
