Job title: Senior Planner, Apparel Supply Planning
Role Summary:
Lead global apparel supply planning, translating multi‑source demand signals into executable plans, optimizing inventory, and ensuring on‑time, cost‑efficient fulfillment across all product lines and markets.
Expactations:
- Own long‑ and short‑term supply strategies across regions, channels, and production centers.
- Deliver forecast accuracy, OTIF compliance, and inventory performance metrics.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration with merchandising, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Merchandising, Brand, Event, and e‑commerce demand inputs into optimal buy/produce/release decisions.
- Manage safety stock, lead‑time calculations, and global inventory placement to meet service and cost targets.
- Conduct scenario modeling and advanced analytics to improve forecast and plan accuracy.
- Chair and elevate weekly “Apparel S&OE” meetings, resolve risks, and report to senior leaders.
- Partner with sourcing/manufacturing teams to secure capacity and flexibility across LATAM, Asia, and near‑shore hubs.
- Collaborate with logistics on inbound schedules, tariff impacts, and last‑mile fan delivery strategies.
- Lead digital twin and advanced planning tool adoption for process and scenario improvement.
- Mentor and develop junior planners, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Strategic planning, analytical modeling, and advanced planning system expertise.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration, stakeholder influence, and senior‑level communication.
- Decision‑making skills focused on service, cost, and working capital trade‑offs.
- Knowledge of inventory optimization, safety stock, lead times, and OTIF metrics.
- Experience with AI/automation, digital supply chain tools, and transformation initiatives.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5–7+ years in supply planning or related roles, including 2+ years in senior or leadership capacity.
- Familiarity with advanced planning systems, scenario modeling, and digital supply chain tools.
