**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code. Automate configuration, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines, while integrating observability, security, and compliance practices. Collaborate with engineering and security teams to accelerate delivery of reliable cloud services.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Proven expertise in AWS services and IaC tooling.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and manage AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda) using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management with Ansible.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and security stakeholders to improve system reliability and performance.
**Required Skills:**
- AWS architecture and services (EC2, IAM, VPC, ECS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda).
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform (primary) and Ansible.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, or Go.
- Containerization: Docker; orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes.
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Monitoring/observability tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
