**Job Title**
Microsoft Azure Architect (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Azure environments for enterprise clients. Oversee FinOps governance, drive DevOps/CloudOps best practices, and mentor a growing Azure engineering team while maintaining a strong client‑facing presence.
**Expectations**
- 7+ years as Cloud Architect, with deep Azure expertise.
- Proficiency in Azure IaaS/PaaS, networking, security, and managed services.
- Azure certifications (AZ‑303, AZ‑304, AZ‑400, or equivalents).
- Demonstrated experience in FinOps, cost management, and DevOps tooling.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional communication skills.
- Fluency in French; professional proficiency in English.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and deliver landing zones, target architecture, and highly‑available production designs.
- Establish DevOps, CloudOps, and FinOps practices from project inception.
- Drive client engagements: scope definition, audits, migrations, and performance optimizations.
- Facilitate technical workshops and guide client/internal teams through implementation.
- Guide security, automation, and observability strategies for Azure workloads.
- Lead, grow, and mentor a team of cloud engineers and consultants; manage hiring and training.
- Define and monitor cloud cost KPIs, educate stakeholders on financial impact, and drive optimization initiatives.
**Required Skills**
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, managed services, security, networking).
- DevOps tooling: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure DevOps.
- Containerization: Kubernetes (AKS), Docker.
- Observability and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- FinOps principles and cloud cost‑management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Leadership of technical teams with mentoring and coaching experience.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Valid Azure certifications (AZ‑303/304, AZ‑400, or equivalent).
- Professional English language proficiency.
