Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Role Summary: Design, develop, and manage data-driven reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights for underwriting, claims, operations, and senior leaders in a property & casualty insurance environment. Expectations: Deliver high-quality, decision-ready insights that influence strategy; maintain data integrity; communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiences; adapt quickly to a fast-growing, high-visibility role. Key Responsibilities: - Build and own management information dashboards (preferably Power BI). - Translate underwriting, claims, and operational data into business‑ready insights. - Partner with senior stakeholders to define reporting requirements and priorities. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards across datasets. - Support data governance and promote best‑practice use of information. - Produce concise, commercially focused analyses for leadership teams. Required Skills: - Business intelligence or analytics experience in P&C insurance. - Strong SQL proficiency and experience handling complex datasets. - Proven track record of building dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders. - Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain data to non‑technical audiences. - Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, growing business environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No mandatory certifications, though Power BI, SQL, or analytics tool certifications are an advantage.
