**Job Title**: Financial Controller **Role Summary**: Own and enhance the finance function of a fast‑growing SaaS company entering a new growth phase. Lead a small team while delivering accurate statutory reporting, robust financial controls, and strategic FP&A insights to drive business performance. **Expectations**: - Salary £70k–80k, hybrid working model. - Manage two finance staff members and collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities**: - Oversee month‑end close and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Build and refine financial processes, systems, and controls to support scaling. - Own cash‑flow forecasting and mid‑term liquidity management. - Deliver commercial reporting and analysis to inform strategic decisions. - Partner with department heads to drive financial performance. - Support FP&A activities: budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling. **Required Skills**: - Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge. - Commercial acumen and ability to translate financial data into business insights. - Proven experience in building and improving processes in a rapid‑growth environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent). - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
