Job Description: **Job Title:** Physician in Training (Medical Resident) **Role Summary:** Six‑month, full‑time (36 h/week) clinical training position within a multidisciplinary primary‑care practice serving ~1,500 patients. The role emphasizes both preventive and curative care under the supervision of an experienced mentor, within a young, dynamic team. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality patient care across a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions. - Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologist, and administrative staff. - Follow supervision guidelines, participate in team meetings, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinic protocols. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct medical consultations for acute illnesses, chronic disease follow‑up, and occupational health issues (e.g., musculoskeletal disorders, burnout). - Perform gynecological examinations and selected technical procedures as required. - Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning. - Support preventive health initiatives and patient education. - Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow‑up actions in the electronic health record. - Assist with quality‑assurance activities and clinical audits. **Required Skills:** - Solid medical knowledge and clinical reasoning. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. - Basic procedural skills (gynecological exams, minor technical acts). - Proficiency in French (and/or Dutch/English) for patient interaction and documentation. - Organizational skills and attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and current enrollment in a residency or post‑graduate training program. - Valid medical license/registration permitting clinical practice in Belgium (or EU equivalent). - Eligibility to work in Belgium for the contract period.
