**Job Title** Solutions Architecture & Engineering Intern, ZTD GMS **Role Summary** Provide hands‑on engineering support to the Zoetis Tech & Digital GMS Enterprise team during a summer internship. Assist in creating architecture diagrams, integrating data streams, drafting technical specifications, and developing Python scripts to advance the connected‑site digital transformation program. **Expectations** - Complete the internship within the agreed summer period. - Demonstrate proactive learning, quality documentation, and collaboration with engineers, data analysts, and product stakeholders. - Produce deliverables such as system diagrams, integration scripts, and design documentation for real projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and maintain system, data flow, and sequence diagrams using tools such as draw.io or Visio. - Assist with data integration tasks: building or consuming REST APIs, handling file ingestion, querying relational databases. - Draft technical design documents, document design decisions, and review solution designs. - Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts, utilities, and small services within the GMS environment. - Support feature testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of pipelines and data flows. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine and validate requirements. **Required Skills** - Comfortable with Python fundamentals (functions, modules, virtual environments). - Basic SQL proficiency and familiarity with JSON, REST API concepts, and Git version control. - Ability to translate system requirements into clear architecture, sequence, and data flow diagrams. - Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field. ---
