**Job Title:**
Automation Project Manager (Automation Studies) – F/M
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of industrial automation and supervision projects for large‑scale industrial building contracts. Act as the technical authority for automation, networking, safety, and instrumentation, ensuring solutions meet client requirements, budget, and schedule.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver optimized technical solutions that comply with safety, cybersecurity, and performance standards.
- Maintain financial control of the project lot throughout the study phase.
- Drive effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure successful on‑site commissioning and hand‑over of automation systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and specify automation, supervision, networking, and safety systems (VDI, SSI, fire detection, gas analysis, RIA).
- Write detailed technical specifications and prepare precise bill‑of‑quantities for subcontracting.
- Serve as the technical decision‑maker for automation, supervision, and instrumentation domains.
- Lead technical meetings with clients and subcontractors; facilitate clear communication of requirements and progress.
- Oversee and participate in on‑site commissioning, testing, and validation activities.
- Monitor and report financial performance of the assigned project lot during the study phase.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced proficiency with industrial SCADA/supervision tools (e.g., AVEVA, PcVue).
- Expertise in PLC programming and configuration (Schneider EcoStruxure/SoMachine, Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7).
- Strong knowledge of IT networking, cybersecurity, routing, VLANs, and IP architecture.
- Understanding of safety systems (SSI, fire detection, gas analysis, RIA).
- Proven ability to manage technical subcontractors and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and interpersonal communication skills; adaptable to dynamic project environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing electro‑technical and industrial automation projects, including subcontractor oversight.
- Relevant certifications in automation platforms or safety systems are a plus (e.g., Siemens/Schneider certifications, cybersecurity credentials).
