**Job Title**
AI Solution Developer II
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready AI and machine learning solutions on Palantir Foundry. Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable ML pipelines, prototypes, and end‑user applications. Provide Foundry expertise and advocacy across the organization.
**Expectations**
- Deliver reusable custom ML models, ontologies, and applications within the Foundry ecosystem.
- Apply best scientific practices to research, experiment and production delivery of AI solutions.
- Maintain high engineering standards, ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
- Serve as the go‑to advisor on Foundry‑based ML and generative AI strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and deploy ML models, generative AI systems, and data pipelines in Palantir Foundry (Workshop, Slate, etc.).
- Design research‑validated ML/Gen‑AI modeling techniques and document strategies.
- Conduct POC experiments, model evaluations, and prototype AI solutions.
- Team up with product managers to define features, coordinate planning, and manage roadmap for production solutions.
- Review and refactor code and pipelines to improve quality, security, and performance.
- Create front‑end user interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React) and Foundry UI components.
- Educate and guide internal teams on Best‑Practice usage of Foundry for AI/ML workflows.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise with Palantir Foundry ecosystem, including Workshop App development, Modeling Objectives, code repositories, and pipelines.
- Advanced knowledge of ML/Gen‑AI, including transformers, LLMs, NLP, time‑series, reinforcement learning, and graphical models.
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
- Proficient in Python and scientific libraries (PyTorch, NumPy, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow).
- Experience designing data models and building data pipelines inside Foundry.
- Front‑end development experience (React or equivalent) for intuitive user experiences.
- Familiarity with relational, non‑relational, and graph databases.
- Excellent communication skills—able to distil technical details for non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning or Generative AI (or equivalent professional experience).
