Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Seasoned C# developer to lead technical transformation of a mission‑driven product platform. Drive migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core, design scalable Azure architecture, and deliver high‑quality features within an Agile Scrum team while mentoring junior staff. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate 10+ years of professional experience with Microsoft ASP.NET technologies. - Lead complex codebase migration and architectural redesign. - Collaborate closely with designers, analysts, and business stakeholders. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid‑level and junior developers. - Operate effectively in a remote, collaborative environment with occasional on‑site meet‑ups. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and enhance features on the existing platform. - Plan and execute migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core. - Design and implement Azure‑based architecture for scalability and growth. - Write clean, testable code; apply refactoring and Test‑Driven Development (TDD). - Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives. - Mentor and support development team members. **Required Skills:** - C# and ASP.NET (MVC, Web Forms, Web API) – deep expertise in both .NET Framework and .NET Core. - Proven experience migrating large .NET codebases to .NET Core. - SQL Server: T‑SQL, database design, performance tuning. - Code refactoring, TDD, and version control (e.g., Git). - Agile/Scrum workflow proficiency. **Desirable Skills:** - Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform). - Messaging systems: MassTransit, RabbitMQ. - Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus but not mandatory.
