**Job Title** Legal Counsel (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) – Fintech **Role Summary** Provide interim legal support to a high‑growth fintech, drafting and negotiating B2B SaaS and supply partner agreements, advising on data protection and privacy contracts, and assisting with corporate governance and commercial risk management. **Expactations** - Collaborate closely with the General Counsel and senior business teams. - Demonstrate strong drafting and negotiation skills within a regulated environment. - Be proactive in identifying commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies. - Show a willingness to learn and develop under senior guidance. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts (B2B SaaS, supplier, service‑level and other partnership agreements). - Provide legal counsel on data‑protection, privacy‑related documents, terms of service, and related compliance matters. - Conduct risk assessments for new initiatives and product launches, communicating findings to stakeholders. - Support corporate governance tasks, including board documentation, regulatory filings and compliance reporting. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of fintech regulations and industry best practices. **Required Skills** - Outstanding drafting and negotiation in commercial and regulatory contexts. - Deep understanding of data‑protection laws (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy) and privacy‑focused contract drafting. - Ability to assess and mitigate commercial risks. - Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills. - Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory filings. **Required Education & Certifications** - Law degree (LLB, JD or equivalent). - Call to the Bar or equivalent legal qualification. - Minimum of 4 PQE (post‑qualification experience) at a leading law firm or a fintech/start‑up.
