Job Description

Job title: Test Engineer – SC Cleared Role Summary: Hand‑on Test Engineer tasked with creating and instituting robust QA practices for a Python microservices platform integrated with custom hardware. Will develop and maintain automated test suites, collaborate with developers to enhance testability, and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous, high‑quality delivery. Expectations: Proactively initiate testing activities, own test design and execution from day one, continuously improve quality processes, and operate independently while maintaining strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Execute functional, integration, and system tests on Python microservices. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. - Collaborate closely with developers to increase code testability and overall product quality. - Draft and refine test plans, use‑case scenarios, and QA documentation. - Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and monitor test reliability. Required Skills: - Proven experience as a Test Engineer or QA Engineer in modern software development environments. - Strong automation focus with solid manual testing capabilities. - Proficiency in Python and experience testing Python microservices. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tooling. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive quality improvements. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards. Required Education & Certifications: - Active Security Contractor (SC) clearance (mandatory).
