**Job Title** Intern Biometrics **Role Summary** 11‑week summer internship (June 1 – Aug 14, 2026) supporting biometrics research in a global biopharma setting. The intern will evaluate dynamic randomization methods for clinical trials through simulation studies, comparative analyses, and decision‑focused reporting, with optional exploration of missing‑data techniques. **Expectations** - Currently enrolled senior undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD student. - Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and meet deadlines. - Strong analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills. - Proactive progress updates and collaborative attitude with cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct literature review and define project scope with manager guidance. - Design and execute simulation studies to compare randomization performance metrics. - Perform statistical analyses, interpret results, and generate actionable conclusions. - Summarize findings in a concise, decision‑focused report highlighting design implications. - Deliver a final presentation with recommendations to stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross‑functional partners as needed and communicate challenges promptly. - (Optional) Explore additional topics such as missing‑data methodologies. **Required Skills** - Advanced mathematical, statistical, and computational proficiency. - Experience with statistical software/programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python, or similar). - Strong problem‑solving and independent research abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication for report writing and presentations. - High initiative, accountability, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a senior undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program. - Major in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field. - No specific certifications required.
