Job Description: **Job Title** Accountant – Family Structured Firm – Flexibility – Double Holiday Pay **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end accounting services for a longstanding family‑structured firm, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, tax filing, and client communication while delivering strategic advisory support to entrepreneurs. **Expectations** * Deliver comprehensive accounting work from data entry to final reporting. * Work autonomously with minimal supervision, progressing quickly to full independence. * Exhibit a proactive, client‑focused mindset, aiming to add value beyond routine bookkeeping. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Record and verify purchase, sales, and financial transactions. 2. Reconcile bank statements and maintain strict account balances. 3. Prepare and file VAT returns. 4. Compile interim financial statements. 5. Prepare corporate income tax (ISOC) and partnership tax (IPP) filings. 6. Communicate regularly with clients in a personalized manner. **Required Skills** * Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheet tools. * Strong analytical and detail‑oriented approach. * Excellent written and oral communication in French. * Time‑management and ability to prioritize tasks in a flexible schedule. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. * Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within a fiduciary or accounting firm. ---
