Job Description
**Job Title** Director – Supply Chain **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the end‑to‑end supply chain (logistics, customer service, transport) for a mid‑size industrial group. Report directly to the Group CEO, drive operational performance, ensure reliable flow of goods, and uphold high customer‑service standards during a post‑acquisition transformation. **Expectations** - Develop and execute a unified supply‑chain strategy aligned with corporate growth goals. - Establish performance‑driven management (KPIs, S&OP, cash‑to‑cash, OTIF, logistics cost). - Build robust, scalable processes and reinforce operational resilience. - Lead, coach, and expand a cross‑functional team of ~35 employees. - Support the organization’s transformation, fostering a pragmatic, results‑focused culture. **Key Responsibilities** - Define the group’s Supply Chain vision and roadmap. - Implement and monitor KPI frameworks, S&OP cycles, working‑capital targets, and cost‑to‑serve metrics. - Standardize and optimize logistics, transportation, and customer‑service processes. - Recruit, develop, and retain talent across logistics, customer service, and transport functions. - Coordinate with finance, sales, production, and IT to align supply‑chain activities with overall business objectives. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, automation) to enhance flow reliability and service quality. - Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers and carriers. **Required Skills** - Proven expertise in global supply chain management within an industrial environment. - Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities (experience managing 30‑40 staff). - Ability to design and implement performance measurement systems (KPIs, S&OP, OTIF). - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. - Change‑management experience; comfortable operating in transformation contexts. - Results‑oriented, pragmatic mindset with a hands‑on, “field” leadership style. - Fluent in English; French proficiency preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field (Bac+5 level). - Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
