Job Description
**Job Title:** Solutions Architect **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and deliver cloud‑first, scalable solutions for a digital referee‑operations platform. Provide architectural leadership within an Agile, hybrid environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and product strategy while collaborating with onshore and offshore teams. **Expectations:** - Produce robust, reliable Azure‑based architectures that meet business value and compliance requirements. - Guide development teams through the full lifecycle, maintaining design integrity and performance. - Establish and enforce governance, standards, and traceability for all solution decisions. - Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead solution design focusing on Microsoft Azure, microservices, and integration patterns. - Partner with Product, Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, and Data Architecture groups to shape epics, features, and data flows. - Advise Tech Leads and development squads, ensuring adherence to the agreed architecture. - Define and maintain architectural governance, documentation, and technical standards. - Conduct performance and reliability reviews; drive continuous improvement. - Communicate technical concepts effectively to non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Certified Solution Architect (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF). - Extensive hands‑on experience designing and delivering Azure cloud solutions. - Strong background in application architecture, microservices, and DevOps practices. - Proficiency with enterprise and integration design patterns. - Agile/Scrum experience; ability to work with distributed/offshore teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management. - Optional: experience in sports organizations or stadium operations. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant solution architecture certification (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, etc.).
