Job Description
**Job Title** Purchasing Manager (F/M) **Role Summary** Lead the development and execution of the company’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Responsible for establishing purchasing policies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, optimizing costs, and driving continuous improvement across all buying functions. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable cost savings and value‑creation opportunities. - Maintain high levels of supplier quality, delivery, and compliance. - Foster cross‑departmental collaboration and support business units in achieving their KPIs. - Uphold rigorous financial control and protect purchasing budgets. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and implement procurement strategy, processes, and performance metrics. - Conduct market and technology surveillance to forecast supply trends and risks. - Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet technical and commercial requirements. - Manage tendering, negotiations, and contract administration; monitor key agreements for compliance. - Track supplier performance, handle disputes, and work with legal and finance teams on resolutions. - Analyze spend reports, assess cost‑optimization initiatives, and report findings to senior management. - Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Projects, HR, and Operations to ensure seamless procurement integration. - Optimize payment terms and cash‑flow while maintaining supplier satisfaction. **Required Skills** - Strategic procurement and supply‑chain management. - Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Analytical skills for spend analysis, market evaluation, and KPI reporting. - Proficiency with ERP, e‑procurement platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Ability to prioritize, anticipate market changes, and drive continuous improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bac+5 (Master’s level) in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering (technical background is a plus). - At least 5 years of procurement experience within a technical/industrial environment. - Preferred certifications: CIPS, Certified Professional in Supply Management, or equivalent. ---
