Developer Relations Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead the development, growth, and support of an authentic developer community for an AI startup’s generative‑AI platform. Craft engaging technical content, represent the company at industry events, nurture relationships across key developer ecosystems, and channel actionable feedback to product and engineering teams.
**Expectations**
- Establish and scale a vibrant, engaged developer ecosystem.
- Produce high‑quality, instructional content (blogs, demos, tutorials, videos).
- Serve as the company’s public face at virtual and in‑person events.
- Maintain active presence on GitHub, Discord, Reddit, X (Twitter), and Stack Overflow.
- Deliver developer insights that influence product direction.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and manage community engagement, onboarding new developers, and fostering long‑term participation.
- Design and execute content strategy, including technical articles, live demos, sample applications, and tutorial series.
- Represent the startup at conferences, meetups, webinars, and virtual summits, delivering talks and workshops.
- Develop and sustain relationships with community members across major platforms (GitHub, Discord, Reddit, X, Stack Overflow).
- Collect and analyze community feedback; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and marketing.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align messaging, outreach, and feature priorities.
**Required Skills**
- Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in AI and generative‑AI technologies.
- Proven community‑building and moderation expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; experience producing technical blog posts, demos, and video content.
- Comfortable public speaking and presentation at conferences and meet‑ups.
- Proficient with GitHub, Discord, Reddit, X (Twitter), and Stack Overflow for community engagement.
- Ability to translate developer feedback into product requirements.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside marketing, product, and engineering teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrated experience in developer relations, community management, or technical evangelism; preferably within AI or software‑as‑a‑service environments.
