Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Cloud and Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Senior technical lead responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments for a medium‑sized, multi‑cloud organization. Drives cloud‑first strategy, ensures compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards, and provides incident response and escalation. **Expectations:** - 8+ years of experience in cloud security roles. - Proven expertise with AWS (Control Tower, Account Factory, GuardDuty, Inspector) and Azure services. - Hands‑on experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub). - Strong network security and DevSecOps knowledge. - Ability to work flexible hybrid schedule (2+ onsite days/week). **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as technical authority for AWS cloud and security solutions. - Maintain and audit AWS services, enforce architectural standards. - Partner with security teams to implement policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage data controls. - Deliver incident response and act as escalation point for security events. - Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native infrastructure delivery. - Write automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) to enhance infrastructure efficiency. - Contribute to the design and evolution of the organization’s security architecture. **Required Skills:** - Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services and security features. - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. - Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent. - Deep understanding of network security, IAM, and data privacy. - Experience with GitLab and GitHub for source control and pipeline orchestration. - Strong competency in CI/CD pipeline design and automation for secure deployments. - Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent) preferred.
