**Job title** VP, US Market Access – Biopharmaceutical **Role Summary** Executive leader responsible for developing and executing U.S. payer access, pricing, contracting, and reimbursement strategies for a growth‑stage biopharmaceutical portfolio, ensuring scalability for future pipeline assets. Reports directly to the U.S. President and sits on the U.S. Executive and Commercial Leadership Teams. **Expactations** - Set and drive market‑access strategy for launch and subsequent assets. - Deliver high‑impact results in a fast‑growth, lean environment. - Build and coach a high‑performing access organization. - Influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead U.S. payer strategy, pricing, contracting, and reimbursement for launch and future assets. - Oversee specialty pharmacy distribution, hub services, and patient support programs. - Manage national account strategy and negotiate with major payers. - Develop value dossiers, economic models, and payer communication plans. - Partner with Medical Affairs on HEOR and real‑world evidence. - Chair pricing committee; guide launch sequencing and pricing strategy. - Embed access considerations in R&D and commercial planning. - Provide executive guidance on payer policy risks and opportunities. - Build, scale, and lead a Market Access organization of 19 staff (5 direct reports). **Required Skills** - 10+ years of biopharma market‑access leadership experience. - Proven success in national account management and payer negotiations. - Deep knowledge of U.S. payer systems, specialty/high‑cost therapeutics, and reimbursement landscape. - Strong analytical, negotiation, and executive communication skills. - Experience building scalable patient support and hub models. - Ability to influence matrixed teams and drive cross‑functional alignment. - Experience in liver, metabolic, cardiovascular, or rare disease therapeutics is preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree preferred. ---
