Job Description

**Job title**: Cyber Security Specialist (Penetration Testing) **Role Summary**: Conduct comprehensive penetration tests across infrastructure, web, cloud, and OT environments. Deliver actionable findings, remediation guidance, and maintain strong client engagement throughout the testing lifecycle. Contribute to tool development, methodology refinement, and internal R&D to enhance testing capabilities. **Expectations**: - Deliver high‑quality test reports and remediation advice to clients. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry tools, frameworks, and emerging threats. - Participate actively in continuous professional development and certification pursuit. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan, execute, and document penetration tests on network, application, cloud, and OT assets. - Use industry‑standard tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nessus, etc.) to identify and exploit vulnerabilities. - Analyse findings, assess risk, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Communicate results clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Engage with clients throughout testing, from scoping to final delivery. - Contribute to the evolution of internal testing methodologies and tooling. - Support knowledge sharing and training within the team. **Required Skills** - Strong practical experience in professional penetration testing. - Proficiency with networks, Linux/Windows platforms, and web technologies. - Expert use of Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nessus, and related tools. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and reporting abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - UKCSC Professional Registration (Practitioner, Principal, or Chartered) in Security Testing Specialism. - CHECK Team Member (CSTM) or CHECK Lead status, or readiness to complete CSTM exam. - CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) preferred. - Relevant security or IT degree or equivalent professional experience.
