Job title: Business Analyst
Role Summary:
Business Analyst bridges business requirements and technical solutions across Gaming1’s land‑based and online gaming operations. The role captures high‑level business objectives, translates them into functional specifications, and ensures successful development, integration, and delivery of features with internal teams and external partners.
Expectations:
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements.
- Analyse solutions, recommend optimal options, and document feasibility.
- Coordinate with development, QA, and vendor teams to deliver high‑quality features.
- Provide training, support, and continuous improvement for end‑users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and prioritise business objectives and KPIs.
- Analyse business requests, define context, and derive high‑level features.
- Compare solution options against business criteria and recommend decisions.
- Draft detailed functional specifications, use‑case documents, diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Validate technical feasibility with technical teams and identify impacts.
- Break down requests, sequence deliverables, and track progress.
- Supervise feature development, configuration with vendors, and integration.
- Design test scenarios, support testing, and evaluate deliverable performance.
- Deliver user training workshops, guides, and support documentation.
- Identify process improvements and continuous optimisation opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation, and multi‑tasking.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to produce concise documentation (requirements, user stories, reports).
- Experience creating mock‑ups, diagrams (UML, BPMN) and flowcharts.
- Knowledge of functional architecture design, data management, programming principles, web technologies.
- Familiarity with process optimisation (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus.
- Proficiency with project management and documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
- Understanding of Agile practices (sprints, ceremonies).
- Diplomatic, adaptable, and able to maintain logical coherence across information.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Training or certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) is desirable.
