Job Title: Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Role Summary
Facilitate end‑to‑end supply chain improvements by eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements, collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to design, deliver, and optimize solutions.
Expectations
- Deliver measurable improvements in supply chain operations.
- Maintain traceability and quality of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work autonomously while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, define, and document actionable business requirements that reflect real business needs.
- Own the requirements lifecycle, ensuring alignment, traceability, and quality from inception to delivery.
- Partner with architects to align proposed solutions with strategic and operational objectives.
- Work with engineers and stakeholders to support solution design, development, and delivery.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage analysis workload to contribute effectively to project schedules.
- Apply structured problem‑solving and critical thinking to identify and shape optimal solutions.
- Support vendor selection processes, including creating evaluation criteria and participating in assessments.
- Facilitate workshops and sessions with stakeholders to refine requirements and capture insights.
- Create process models, user journeys, BPMN diagrams, and other artefacts to underpin decision‑making.
Required Skills
- Proven Business Analyst experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Deep knowledge of supply‑chain processes and systems (SAP, EWM, WMS, WCS preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and process‑improvement skills.
- Proficiency in business‑analysis techniques: user stories, use cases, BPMN, As‑is/To‑be modelling.
- Confidence in facilitating workshops and using a variety of elicitation methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts simply and build stakeholder trust.
- Proficiency with Visio, Confluence, JIRA, or comparable tools.
- Proactive, self‑starting, collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivery excellence.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Business Analyst certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI‑PBA are advantageous.
