Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior or Principal Security Consultant (Risk Management) **Role Summary:** Senior/Principal Security Consultant required to drive secure-by-design solutions and manage risk across complex cyber systems for public and private sector clients. **Expectations:** Proven leadership in cyber risk management, strategic client engagement, and technical expertise to deliver security frameworks aligned with business and regulatory objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct system lifecycle risk assessments, design secure architectures, and produce technical documentation (risk assessments, solution architecture). - Lead security engineering, assurance, and compliance efforts for high-risk clients. - Foster client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support bid development. - Facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate security requirements into actionable business and technical strategies. - Advise on enterprise and cloud security, cryptographic controls, and incident response frameworks. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in defensive cyber, secure systems, network/cloud security, cryptographic controls, and security auditing. - Deep understanding of ISO 27000, NIST, NCSC, and MOD security frameworks (JSP 440/604/902, DEFCON 659A). - Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication. - Experience managing technical security across diverse project teams and environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - **Mandatory:** CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification. - **Preferred:** CIISec Full Membership; Chartered/IEng/CEng status via UK Engineering body; UK Cyber Security Council Principal/Chartered status.
