Job Description
**Job Title** Fire & Security Small Works Project Manager **Role Summary** Lead and deliver small-scale fire detection, CCTV, and access control projects (up to £85k). Manage the full project cycle from enquiry to commissioning, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality outcomes while achieving sales and profitability targets. **Expectations** - Own and complete multiple small works projects within the North/North Midlands region. - Meet or exceed agreed sales, financial, and customer satisfaction targets. - Maintain accurate forecasting, invoicing, and pipeline management. **Key Responsibilities** - Handle client enquiries, prepare detailed quotations, and conduct site surveys. - Forecast finances, manage invoicing, and maintain the sales pipeline. - Utilize CRM (Salesforce preferred) for all project, sales, and stakeholder data. - Collaborate with regional Account Managers to secure and grow revenue. - Oversee the project lifecycle: quotation → installation → commissioning. - Manage variations, quality checks, health & safety compliance, and risk/method statements. - Coordinate on‑site subcontractors and engineers. - Deliver excellent customer service throughout project delivery. **Required Skills** - Proven small‑works/project management experience in fire and/or security. - In-depth knowledge of fire detection systems and BS 5839 standards. - Proficiency in CCTV and access control system principles. - Financial forecasting, reporting, and pipeline development. - Subcontractor management (operational & financial). - Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑facing abilities. - Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce experience desirable). - Valid UK driver’s licence. **Required Education & Certifications** - Relevant technical qualification or professional certification in fire safety, security systems, or related field. - Knowledge of BS 5839 (or equivalent) standards; additional certifications in fire detection or security systems are advantageous.
