Job Title: Cyber Security Architect Role Summary: Design, implement, and govern secure IT and OT architectures that comply with Defence and industry cyber frameworks, ensuring secure design principles are embedded throughout all projects and programmes. Expectations: - Deliver secure architecture solutions aligned with Defence standards (Def Stan 05‑138, CSM v4, Secure by Design) and relevant NIST SP 800‑82 Rev 3. - Lead security lifecycle reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments for new and existing projects. - Champion secure design across the organisation, influencing design, procurement, and operational practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain IT security standards and reusable design patterns. - Review and approve solution designs to ensure compliance with security standards. - Lead threat modelling and risk assessment activities for all IT and OT projects. - Collaborate with IT and OT teams to embed security into system designs and provide secure configuration guidance. - Support security audits, providing architectural evidence and documentation. - Evaluate and integrate vendor security products, supporting procurement and cost‑value assessment. - Act as a visible security champion, driving adoption of secure design principles.
