Job Description

Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for next‑generation devices using ARM/STM32 microcontrollers. Build automation tools in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prototype and integrate hardware and software solutions. Expectations: • Strong Python, Linux, and scripting proficiency. • Embedded software experience in C, C++, or Rust. • Hands‑on experience with ARM/STM32 microcontrollers. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Proactive, flexible, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and debug firmware for embedded devices. • Develop and maintain build scripts and automation tools. • Collaborate with founders and engineers to translate concepts into functional prototypes. • Ensure seamless hardware‑software integration and performance. • Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and document firmware. Required Skills: • Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting. • C/C++/Rust programming for embedded systems. • ARM/STM32 microcontroller development. • Linux operating system knowledge. • Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities. • Effective written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred). • Familiarity with IoT architectures or PCB design is an advantage. • Experience in early‑stage startup environments or medical device development is a plus.
