Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer II **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain a cloud‑based data foundation and AI agent platform. Lead the implementation of AI/ML models, prompt engineering, and data analytics across structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data to deliver scalable, high‑quality services. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align engineering solutions with business objectives and technology roadmaps. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end delivery of data‑centric AI services in a cloud environment. - Apply best practices in architecture, security, and performance optimization. - Demonstrate independent, proactive problem‑solving and continuous improvement. - Communicate technical concepts effectively to engineering, product, and business stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Architect and implement a robust, cloud‑native data foundation for AI services. 2. Build and maintain AI agent platforms, integrating machine‑learning models and prompt‑engineering workflows. 3. Perform comprehensive data analysis and transformation for all data types. 4. Employ data mining, business‑intelligence tools, and EDW techniques to extract actionable insights. 5. Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business users to define requirements and deliver reliable, scalable solutions. 6. Ensure alignment with system design standards, technology roadmaps, and quality benchmarks. 7. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the engineering culture of excellence. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of cloud service development experience. - Strong programming in Java, Python, C++, or C# (OO languages). - Proven ability to build data‑intensive services and handle large‑scale data pipelines. - Experience with AI/ML platforms, prompt engineering, and integrating ML models into production. - Familiarity with data platforms, ETL, and BI tools. - Knowledge of data science fundamentals is a plus. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - No mandatory industry certifications, but experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML frameworks is strongly preferred.
