Job Title: Head of People
Role Summary:
Lead the end‑to‑end people function in a high‑growth, AI‑centered tech environment. Own strategy, operations, and culture, driving scalable, AI‑enabled processes that support talent acquisition, development, compliance, and employee experience. Act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering data‑driven insights and coaching to align people initiatives with business goals.
Expectations:
- Demonstrated history of building and leading a people function in a fast‑moving tech or consulting startup.
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices for scaling teams.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI and automation to streamline HR processes.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution and a collaborative style.
- Ability to influence and coach senior leaders, fostering a culture of feedback, learning, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organization‑wide people strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve AI‑driven people processes (e.g., onboarding, performance reviews, workforce planning).
- Partner with talent teams to define hiring plans, interview frameworks, and employer brand initiatives.
- Own the end‑to‑end onboarding experience and ongoing employee development programs.
- Build and maintain career frameworks, learning pathways, and succession plans.
- Oversee policy, contract, benefits, and compliance administration, ensuring adherence to UK law.
- Manage employee relations, resolving issues fairly and in line with company values.
- Maintain data integrity, generate analytics reports, and provide insights for decision makers.
- Champion culture, collaboration, and wellbeing initiatives to support scalable teamwork.
Required Skills:
- Leadership and people management in a high‑growth tech or consulting context.
- Strategic planning, project management, and execution.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and AI/automation tools for people processes.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
