Job title: Mid‑Level ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise ServiceNow solutions for corporate functions. Works within the IDT&S organization to transform business requirements into functional ServiceNow applications, supporting continuous improvement of service management capabilities.
Expectations:
- Demonstrated 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience (ITSM, ITBM, GRC, or CRM).
- Proven ability to script, build UI, and configure core tables and workflows.
- Strong web development skills and experience integrating with external systems via SOAP/REST.
- Agile mindset with prior experience in Scrum or related SDLC processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow portals, modules, UI actions, business rules, scheduled jobs, client scripts, and data integrations.
- Administer platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture functional and technical requirements, then translate them into system solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external applications using Mid‑Server, SOAP, or REST APIs.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions; recommend tools and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
Required Skills:
- ServiceNow development (core tables, Glide, scripting, UI, business rules, data imports, custom apps).
- Web technologies: XHTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular.
- Backend integration: JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion.
- API integration: SOAP, REST, and ServiceNow’s Mid‑Server.
- Process workflow design and implementation.
- SDLC knowledge and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Current ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Systems Administrator).
- Agile/Scrum or SAFe certification.
