**Job Title:** Performance Test Expert
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, execution, and reporting of non‑functional testing (NFR) for a banking transformation project. Partner with technical teams, product owners, and security/infrastructure stakeholders to translate NFRs in areas such as performance, scalability, failover, disaster recovery, monitoring, and security into actionable test strategies and automated test suites.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable, clear test evidence that informs risk assessment and improvement plans.
- Maintain alignment between test activities and development/DevOps pipelines.
- Communicate findings in an accessible manner to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and tooling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and document non‑functional test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for performance, CPU usage, microservices, security, alerting, monitoring, and disaster‑recovery.
- Design and execute NFR test cycles using tools such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, ADS, Selenium, Xray, and Splunk.
- Coordinate cross‑team effort, track bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive resolution.
- Consolidate test results into high‑level reports for stakeholders.
- Mentor and collaborate within a team of NFT specialists to share knowledge and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Hands‑on experience in NFR preparation and execution within Financial Services (or large complex IT environments).
- Deep knowledge of performance, scalability, reliability, failover, disaster recovery, accessibility, and security testing.
- Proficiency with performance/load testing tools (LoadRunner, Performance Center, ADS), automation tools (Selenium, Xray), and monitoring platforms (Splunk).
- Strong technical acumen to translate business requirements into technical tests.
- Ability to write clear, concise test approaches, plans, and cases.
- Experience in Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating test results to non‑specialists.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certifications in performance testing (e.g., Performance Center, LoadRunner), or testing in a financial services context are preferred.
