Job Description
Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Role Summary: Provide strategic financial insight and analysis across Cyderes, partnering with functional leaders to drive business decisions. Own forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, translating complex data into actionable guidance for non‑financial stakeholders in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment. Expectations: – 3–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related roles. – CPA designation (completed or in progress). – Proven track record in high‑growth, SaaS or technology services organizations. – Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with advanced Excel proficiency. – Effective communication of financial concepts to non‑technical audiences. – Comfortable managing evolving priorities and contributing to process improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Partner with cross‑functional leaders for financial planning, performance tracking, and decision support. 2. Translate financial data into clear insights, highlighting key performance drivers. 3. Prepare and present financial analysis and results to senior leadership. 4. Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles; monitor operating metrics and revenue performance vs. plan. 5. Build and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis. 6. Develop, update, and distribute periodic financial reporting packages. 7. Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support operational initiatives and special projects. 8. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices in reporting and forecasting. 9. Support system enhancements, reporting transitions, and business process documentation for finance‑led initiatives. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas). - Financial system proficiency (e.g., ERP, BI tools). - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain financial data to non‑financial audiences. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and prioritize effectively. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). - CPA designation (completed or in progress).
