Job Description
**Job Title**: Constructability & Methods Lead Engineer **Role Summary** Lead constructability initiatives and manufacturing method development for subsea/wind components across all project phases (power supply, submission, execution). Drive coordination among engineering, design, and manufacturing teams, ensuring designs are technically feasible, cost‑effective, and built to specification while mitigating risks. **Expectations** - Deliver constructability plans that align with project objectives and schedules. - Ensure manufacturing constraints are fully considered in all design reviews. - Build strong working relationships with engineering, technical office, and tool development teams. - Communicate constructability findings and recommendations clearly to all stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain constructability programs and schedules for subsea/wind components. - Conduct constructability reviews of all design elements, providing actionable feedback on manufacturability, assembly, installation, and field operations. - Coordinate with engineering, design, and technical offices to incorporate manufacturing constraints early in the design process. - Define, evaluate, and implement manufacturing methods, tooling, and process improvements to optimize production and installation. - Support technical offices with detailed method statements, procedural documentation, and tool specifications. - Liaise with project members to resolve constructability issues and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration. - Prepare and present constructability reports, risks, and mitigation plans to project leadership. - Continuously benchmark industry best practices and integrate lessons learned into future projects. **Required Skills** - Deep understanding of subsea and offshore wind manufacturing and installation processes. - Proficiency in constructability review, design evaluation, and manufacturing constraint analysis. - Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills. - Ability to develop manufacturing methods, tooling requirements, and process documentation. - Analytical mindset for risk identification, problem solving, and continuous improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. - Minimum 6–8 years of experience in subsea or offshore wind engineering with demonstrable constructability expertise. - PMP, Professional Engineer (PE), or similar project/engineering certification is preferred but not mandatory.
