Job Description: **Job Title:** Computer Vision Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for autonomous vehicle platforms, delivering real‑time performance on embedded hardware. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to design, architect, and integrate vision solutions, while staying abreast of emerging technologies to drive product innovation. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in a fast‑paced environment. - Solve complex technical problems and challenge requirements to add value. - Communicate effectively across engineering domains. - Travel as required and obtain/maintain SC security clearance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and test computer vision modules (object detection, tracking, target re‑identification, guidance). - Write production‑grade C++ code and integrate algorithms using ROS 2 on NVIDIA Jetson platforms. - Participate in full software lifecycle: architecture, implementation, verification, and real‑time hardware integration. - Evaluate and adopt emerging CV technologies and industry trends. - Diagnose and resolve performance or functional issues in deployed systems. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in modern C++ (C++14/17 or later). - Experience with ROS 2 middleware. - Hands‑on experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded GPUs. - Strong foundation in computer vision techniques (detection, tracking, re‑identification). - Excellent problem‑solving and debugging abilities. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Adaptability to a dynamic, innovation‑driven environment. - Eligibility for UK SC security clearance and willingness to travel. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field. - Eligibility for SC (Security Check) clearance.
